Yes, the government has recognised Ductworking, Duct Installation and Ductwork Erecting as a skilled industrial profession. As a start to this new recognition in the industry of HVAC the Government has awarded funding to the South West and the South East of England. This means as a ductwork fitter / installer from this area, you are entitled to free funding from the Government to achieve full NVQ qualifications in the Duct Installation Industry.
